Accounts Payable Specialist

Shared Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers for goods and services acquired for our operations.
Responsibilities:- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of payables and payments, including tracking and reporting on outstanding balances.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a computerized accounting environment, with a focus on accounts payable.
- Completion of high school education, with a diploma in business or accounting from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
