Job SummaryWe're looking for an experienced Senior Culinary Operations Manager to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead and direct a team of cooks and kitchen assistants in preparing and portioning food, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to quality control standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to help kitchen staff develop their skills and knowledge in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintaining accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Monitor food and service quality, ensuring consistency with our high standards and making recommendations for improvement.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate; vocational training or certification in culinary arts is an asset.
- Work Location: This position requires on-site work at our restaurant location. No remote work options are available.
