About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining critical systems that support our gaming server infrastructure.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience with public cloud services, including design, implementation, and operational support of critical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement technologies and provide support within a follow-the-sun model.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues, connectivity challenges, performance problems, and availability outages.
  • Develop productivity-enhancing tools to automate common system administration tasks.
  • Maintain documentation of systems configurations and procedures, including runbooks for live support.
  • Support an always-on gaming server infrastructure.
  • Provide on-call support when needed for feature launches, live events, and emergency escalations.
  • Troubleshoot and correct issues raised from production and live services operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited education institution in computer engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with public cloud services (especially Azure, AWS, and GCP).
  • Experience with several DevOps tools and methodologies, including container workload technologies, configuration management systems, monitoring/observability systems, and pipeline automation systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating system and network security fundamentals for publicly accessible services hosted on Linux servers.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $79,900 - $111,900, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, paid parental leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan.
