Senior Geomatics Engineer for Infrastructure Projects

Moving2Canada is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to lead complex infrastructure projects in Vancouver. With a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $130,000, this full-time permanent role offers opportunities for professional growth and development.
About the Role- Serve as senior project manager for various infrastructure projects, including mixed-use air space subdivision and large-scale construction projects.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality results, from budgeting and project research to final plan preparation and reporting.
- Lead survey party crews on a variety of projects, ensuring efficient execution and timely completion.
- Conduct fieldwork, including client liaison, project research, calculations, and review of final plans and reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Possess project management experience and a proven track record of working on complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Hold a valid BCLS and CLS Commission.
- UAV Licence would be an asset.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS data processing, and least-squares analysis.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- A minimum of 3+ years of surveying experience.
- Diploma or degree in geomatics technology or geomatics engineering.
