Crop Intelligence is seeking a Territory Business Agronomist to join our team in Manitoba. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with vendors, customers, and insight collaborators to grow awareness of our Crop Intelligence insights, subscriptions, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with vendors to set and execute sales goals, driving volume growth of our hardware and subscription offerings.
  • Manage leads from referral partners, tradeshows, and online referrals through the sales cycle.
  • Be the primary contact for sales programming offered by Crop Intelligence.
  • Train and engage vendors, customers, and collaborators on the insights delivered by our product to help end customers capture their full Water Driven Yield Potential.
  • Bring forward feedback on new insights and hardware products to meet customer needs.
  • Support product development in the field to ensure high-quality data collection and drive accurate insights.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of business as a team sport and a passion for agronomy.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with decision-makers on farms or at farm retailers/dealers.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and increase experience for both vendors and customers.
  • Strong drive to succeed in a flexible schedule, with 80% of time spent traveling to meet with customers, vendors, and collaborators.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
