Job Summary:Crop Intelligence is seeking a Territory Business Agronomist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with vendors, customers, and insight collaborators to grow the awareness of our Crop Intelligence insights, subscriptions, and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with vendors to set and execute sales goals to grow volume of our hardware and subscription offerings.
- Manage leads from referral partners, tradeshows, and online referrals through the sales cycle.
- Be the key contact for sales programming offered by Crop Intelligence.
- Train and engage vendors, customers, and collaborators on the insights delivered by our product to help end customers capture their full Water Driven Yield Potential.
- Bring forward feedback on new insights and hardware products to be developed to meet customer needs.
- Support the product in the field to ensure high-quality data collection to drive accurate insights.
- Passion for agronomy and a desire to continually develop skills.
- Strong drive to build long-term relationships and increase the experience for both vendors and customers.
- Ability to work in a team environment and energized by working towards wins for both sides in all interactions.
- Experience working directly with decision makers on the farm or decision makers at farm retailers or dealers.
- High drive to succeed inside a flexible schedule and enjoy the road, traveling to meet with customers, vendors, and collaborators 80% of the time.
