About the Role

Crop Intelligence is seeking a Territory Business Agronomist to join our team in Manitoba. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with vendors, customers, and insight collaborators to grow awareness of our insights, subscriptions, and hardware.

You will work closely with our vendors to set and execute sales goals, manage leads, and provide training and support to ensure high-quality data collection and accurate insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow volume of our hardware and subscription offerings
  • Manage leads from referral partners, tradeshows, and online referrals through the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with vendors to set and achieve sales goals
  • Provide training and support to vendors, customers, and collaborators on our insights and hardware
  • Bring forward feedback on new insights and hardware products to meet customer needs
  • Support product development to ensure high-quality data collection and accurate insights
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with decision makers on the farm or at farm retailers or dealers
  • Strong drive to build long-term relationships and increase experience for vendors and customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and collaborators
  • Passion for agronomy and ability to connect data to solve real-world problems
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and travel extensively (80% of the time)
