Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion. This will involve managing project teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership
- Provide on-site and office leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
- Project Management
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Understand interdependencies between operations and business needs.
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that facilitate project success.
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
- Team Management
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program team, as well as monitoring staff performance and reviews.
- Effectively communicate with superiors, team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
- Level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and other software as required.
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
- Experience negotiating vendor contracts.
- Ability to successfully lead projects and programs on-time, on-schedule, and within budget parameters.
- Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
- Familiarity with OH&S regulations and adaptation to the company safety policies and regulations.
- Have a strong understanding of construction and technical engineering documentation, as well as an understanding of the tendering, bidding and quoting processes in the industry.
