Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Jump Recruitment Specialists. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Provide on-site and office leadership for the project team, building and motivating team members to meet project goals.
- Project Management: Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources, ensuring effective use of time, materials, and personnel.
- Status Reporting: Provide regular status reports to stakeholders regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Interdependencies: Understand and manage interdependencies between operations and business needs, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Project Life Cycle: Own the full project life cycle, from initiation to deployment, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Reporting: Report on project success criteria results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities.
- Best Practices: Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that facilitate project success.
- Quality Control: Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
- Team Management: Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program teams, monitoring staff performance and reviews.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with superiors, team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Project Management Experience: 10+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
- Technical Skills: Level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and other software as required.
- Decision-Making: Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
- Negotiation: Experience negotiating vendor contracts.
- Leadership: Ability to successfully lead projects and programs on-time, on-schedule, and within budget parameters.
- Team Management: Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources.
- OH&S Regulations: Familiarity with OH&S regulations and adaptation to company safety policies and regulations.
- Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction and technical engineering documentation, as well as an understanding of the tendering, bidding, and quoting processes in the industry.
