Senior Project Manager
Pomerleau, a leading construction firm across Canada, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team.
- Manage large-scale building and infrastructure projects, ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $100 million.
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals and vision.
- Support project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule, ensuring completion dates and milestones are met.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to recommend innovative methods that increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Pomerleau's Quality Program and utilize experience in trade partner selection and coordination.
- Apply financial management experience to plan, manage, and respect project budgets, costs, and associated purchasing.
- Share knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members.
- Keep the lines of communication open regarding project status and updates.
- Be an expert in risk management to minimize associated project risk.
- Take pride in compiling and completing companywide project reports.
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project.
This role is ideal for individuals with:
- 10+ years' experience in Project Management in the ICI construction industry.
- University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- A proven track record of project leadership, success, and team collaboration.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others.
- Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, and building codes.
- Role model status for health and safety as well as quality.
- A passion to develop, maintain, and execute the project schedule.
- Good computer skills and previous experience with scheduling software.
