Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Technician to join our team at NPA WorldWide. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning, fault-finding, repairing, maintaining, and monitoring company equipment at mine sites
  • Ensuring Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is carried out as appropriate on company equipment to detect early signs of damage
  • Providing sales support to our customer base in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager
  • Liaising with the Customer Service Manager and Customer Relations Department to ensure timely customer feedback
  • Training mine site personnel and company employees in the use of our specialized equipment
  • Ensuring timely completion of timesheets and administrative paperwork
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Crane Technician, Diesel Technician, Electrician, Mechanic, or similar trade qualification
  • High-level written and spoken communication skills to represent the company to staff at mine sites and other organizations
  • Outgoing personality to confidently make contact by telephone and conduct face-to-face meetings
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail with respect to paperwork processing
  • Well-developed IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to undergo and satisfy all site requirements, including medical examinations and provision of personal records
