About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our ScotiaMcLeod Wealth Management team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in the development and management of our clients' wealth, providing exceptional client service and contributing to business development and sales-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients, ensuring their investment objectives and risk tolerance are met.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue, and develop and distribute client communication and marketing pieces.
  • Team Collaboration: Build effective working relationships across the team and with various business lines within Scotiabank, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Investment Knowledge: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of investments and services to identify new opportunities within the existing client base.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in the securities industry, with a strong understanding of investment products and services.
  • Education: Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH), and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • Registration: Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional client service skills.
