Position Overview

As a pivotal member of ScotiaMcLeod, a distinguished entity within Scotia Wealth Management, you will be recognized for your commitment to service excellence and trusted investment guidance. Your Role

In the capacity of Senior Associate, you will collaborate with a prominent Portfolio Manager and a team of professionals to develop and oversee a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering exceptional client service while actively contributing to business growth and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and present insightful reports and recommendations tailored to client needs.
  • Create and disseminate client communications and marketing materials.
  • Assess and refine administrative practices to ensure efficiency and thorough tracking of tasks.
  • Grasp client investment goals and risk profiles in relation to the Portfolio Manager's strategies.
  • Foster productive relationships within the team and across various departments of Scotiabank.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects to enhance asset acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Leverage your comprehensive knowledge of investment products and services to uncover opportunities within the existing client base.

Qualifications

We are eager to connect with candidates who possess:

  • Experience in the investment sector.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH), and Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • Registration as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail coupled with excellent time management skills.
  • Outstanding client service capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
