POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Associate, you will operate within a substantial Wealth Management division. Working alongside the lead Portfolio Manager and other team members, you will contribute to the development and management of their client portfolio by delivering exceptional client service and supporting business growth and sales initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:

  • Prepare, analyze, and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients.
  • Create and distribute client communications and marketing materials.
  • Assess practices to ensure that administrative processes are efficient and that tasks are completed and documented for tracking purposes.
  • Comprehend client investment goals and risk tolerance in relation to the Portfolio Manager's model portfolios.
  • Foster effective working relationships within the team and across various business units within Scotiabank.
  • Identify new business prospects to attract additional assets and/or enhance revenue.
  • Leverage your extensive knowledge of investments and services to uncover new opportunities within the existing client base.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We would be pleased to collaborate with you if you possess:

  • Experience in the securities sector.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH), and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • Registration as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills.
  • Outstanding client service capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
