The RED PEPPER RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key player in our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your attention to detail and ability to plan menus and estimate food requirements will be invaluable to our restaurant's success.
Responsibilities:
- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work 30 hours per week
