About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Data Architect to join our team at Domtar Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation and data-driven decision making across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Innovation and Technology: Identify and evaluate emerging digital technologies to drive business growth and innovation. Develop and lead proof-of-concept initiatives for AI-powered solutions that have a high potential impact on business needs.
  • Data Strategy and Intelligence: Lead the development and architecture of data management strategies and solutions that ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Drive research on data technologies to accelerate the design, implementation, and execution of data solutions.
  • Digital Strategy: Participate in the development and execution of a global digital strategy aligned with business objectives. Evaluate the company's current digital capabilities against digital objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Interfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other departments to integrate digital solutions and data-driven decision making. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
  • Data Governance: Participate in the development of data governance policies, standards, and frameworks. Ensure solutions meet data privacy and security regulations and industry standards.
  • Leadership: Collaborate with team leaders to develop and mentor team members, identify knowledge gaps, and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: More than 8 years of experience in digital strategy, data management, or related fields. Proven leadership experience in driving successful digital initiatives.
  • Language: English required; bilingual French-English is an asset.
