Data Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Solutions Architect at KPI Digital, you will:
- Ensure the integrity and coherence of all data models, from conceptual to physical representations.
- Align the metamodel layer with the objectives of the dimensional model, facilitating the creation of 'Dynamic Dashboards' that reflect Sales metrics across a diverse range of stakeholders including manufacturers, large retailers, architects, contractors, end customers, and specialized stores.
- Develop a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) and secure feedback and approvals from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Lead Architect.
- Guide data engineers in the transition of data to the Cold Zone through detailed specifications and support.
Essential Skills and Experience
The following qualifications are essential for this role:
- Strong understanding of business processes and objectives, coupled with an ability to relate these to data management (SIPOC, CRUD, etc.).
- Proficiency in Data Modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, as well as familiarity with alternatives like Erwin and Embarcadero.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Databricks, and Event Hub, with an emphasis on understanding their roles rather than technical expertise.
- Ability to quickly grasp the strategic direction set by the Practice Lead.
- Skill in clarifying ambiguous concepts and transforming them into clear, actionable insights.
- Pragmatic approach to design, balancing constraints without compromising quality.
- Capacity to identify critical aspects worth prioritizing against less significant issues.
