Business Intelligence and Data Architect

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Business Intelligence Architect to join our team at KPI Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data models that are complete, coherent, and consistent.
- Align the metamodel layer with the intent of the dimensional model to support the production of dynamic dashboards covering sales metrics in complex multi-party companies.
- Define a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) and obtain feedback and approvals from customers' Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Lead Architect.
- Provide guidance and specifications to data engineers to ensure data is transformed and loaded into the Cold Zone.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of business processes and objectives combined with data relationships (SIPOC, CRUD, etc).
- Experience using data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner or others like Erwin, Embarcadero, and similar.
- Understanding of Azure Data Lake Storage (AZDLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Databricks, Event Hub, and their roles in data processing.
- Able to quickly understand patterns and directions taken by the Practice Lead.
- Able to clarify ambiguous concepts and make them clear.
- Pragmatic approach with consideration for constraints, but not at the expense of faulty designs or concepts.
- Ability to discern key aspects worth fighting for versus less important ones.
