Wellness Nurse

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents to identify their ongoing needs and services.
- Assess, monitor, and follow up with residents who have experienced any falls, accidents, or incidents.
- Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file.
- Maintain effective communication with residents' families and responsible parties to ensure their medical needs are being met.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and community team to promote infection control standards and quality care indicators.
- Regularly monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile to ensure accurate administration and documentation.
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of one year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent communication and teaching skills.
