Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Build It Back. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including production and other relevant metrics.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material deliveries, equipment maintenance, and personnel assignments.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to inform project decisions.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are located outdoors, and you will be required to work in a noisy environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of yourself and your team members, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
