About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Supervisor to join our team at Thomson Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth production and packaging of our food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement measures to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Materials Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to support production operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Food processing industry.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, overtime required, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, team player, values and ethics, and reliability.
