We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seasonal Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist to join our Ferrovial Services team. As a key member of our winter maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform duties of shift supervisor during the winter maintenance season, ensuring the effective management of resources and personnel.
- Assist in the planning and organization of work activities, including the allocation of equipment and personnel.
- Oversee work operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and contractual agreements.
- Provide leadership and training to junior staff, including instructions on safety techniques and procedures.
- Inspect work performed by contract staff and advise contractors of deficiencies.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the weekly, monthly, and annual work plan.
- Liaise with property owners, the general public, and other stakeholders to promote good public relations and ensure compliance with Ministry and Ferrovial Services requirements.
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industry repair, maintenance, or landscaping (outdoor work) (Preferred)
- Valid Ontario Class "DZ" Driver's License and MTO Operator's Permit, and acceptable driving record.
The employee is routinely exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to insects.
