Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Buzz Marketing Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure fair compensation and accurate job postings.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices, and recommend changes to improve our benefits package and work environment.
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve employee relations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recruit and hire staff to fill open positions and support our company's growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Human resources software experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Client focus and customer service skills.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and reliability.
