About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Research Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development and implementation of research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and administrative support to the research team, including contract negotiation and management, intellectual property protection, and research collaboration development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including industry and academic institutions, to foster research collaborations and partnerships.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of research contracts, agreements, and licenses, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of research contracts, agreements, and licenses, ensuring timely renewal and expiration notifications.
  • Collaborate with researchers to develop and implement strategies for intellectual property protection, including patent and trademark applications.
  • Provide guidance and support to researchers on research ethics, confidentiality, and data management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of research funding opportunities, including government grants and industry partnerships.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of research policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, law, or science.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business or law, is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in research administration, intellectual property management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with researchers, external partners, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex research projects and contracts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
