About the Role

The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research support team, you will play a critical role in facilitating research collaborations, partnerships, and knowledge translation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and administrative support to the Research Partnerships team in the development of research collaborations, partnerships, and knowledge translation initiatives.
  • Assist in the negotiation, drafting, and review of research contracts, agreements, and partnerships with external organizations.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with research partners, stakeholders, and other external organizations.
  • Contribute to the development of research policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Participate in the coordination of research activities and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as administration, humanities, or social sciences.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in research administration, technology transfer, or innovation management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and intellectual property in a research setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in research partnerships, collaborations, and knowledge translation.
  • Knowledge of research funding agencies and policies.
