Forestry Accountant

Accountant - Forestry Industry
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a passion for the Forestry industry to join our client's finance and revenue processing team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial statements and analysis
- Handle month-end working papers and adjustments
- Manage semi-monthly bank reconciliations and online banking transactions
- Review and post subordinate's transactions
- Participate in invoicing and revenue processing
- Develop business processes and accounting policies
- Prepare Excise tax returns and compliance reporting
- Assist in setting departmental priorities
Requirements:
- Experience in the Forestry industry
- CPA designation is highly valued
- Proficiency in AccPac, Sage 50/300, or Adagio
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Comfortable with non-routine tasks and assignments
- Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory experience
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience
- Hybrid Work Model: Work from home 2 days a week
