Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage comprehensive change and training initiatives to drive business transformation and growth.
  • Engage stakeholders and build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that drive business transformation and growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and engage the Salesforce user base.
  • Perform continuous discovery to understand customer/user needs, pain points, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Facilitate training across the Branch network.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, change management, consulting, and/or product management.
  • Strong understanding of the Retail/Small Business lines of business, including policies and processes, servicing models, and products.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, instill confidence, and influence stakeholders.
  • Master of identifying and solving ambiguous problems to drive customer and business value.
  • Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
  • Strong understanding of culture change; demonstrated experience implementing Change Management initiatives and making an impact through influence and change principles.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Creative, self-starting, results-oriented, and highly motivated individual with a strong ability to reconcile competing or conflicting goals to help resolve business problems of varying complexity.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
