Contaminated Sites Remediation Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites remediation and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to CSA and O.Reg.153/04 requirements.
- Design and oversee remedial systems including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, permeable and impermeable barriers, and mechanical technologies.
- Manage excess soil and waste on infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and design inputs as per O.Reg. 406/19.
- Peer review technical documents and reports.
- Support business development activities including proposal preparation on major and minor pursuits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering or similar programs.
- 15+ years of related consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian jurisdiction.
- 2+ years managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $100K.
- Technically strong with advance knowledge of environmental site assessments, excess soil planning, and various remediation approaches.
- Experience working with diverse multidiscipline and/or international project teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Financially literate from a project management perspective.
