We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager/Scientist to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to CSA and O.
- Develop remedial design and site remediation oversight plans, including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, permeable and impermeable barriers, and mechanical technologies.
- Manage excess soil and waste on infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and design inputs as per O.
- Peer review technical documents and reports.
- Design support of infrastructure projects from a waste/contamination and excess soil perspective.
- Project Management and Coordination: ESA and remediation related projects, tracking and maintaining budgets and project finances, liaising and supporting other engineering disciplines, and being the primary point of contact with clients, junior staff, and other project managers.
- Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering or similar programs.
- ~15 + years of related, consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in the applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian (preferably Ontario) jurisdiction.
- ~2+ years managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $100K and/or as a project manager or a technical designer.
- ~ Technically strong with advance knowledge of environmental site assessments, excess soil planning, and various remediation approaches.
- ~ Experience working with diverse multidiscipline and/or international project teams.
- ~ Financially literate from a project management perspective.
- ~ Track record of delivering high-quality work products.
