Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Banff International Hostel.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train cleaning staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or equipment replacement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Client focus, dependability, and reliability.
This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
