About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Service Attendant to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional service and enjoy their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dietary areas and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation and assembly of salad/sandwich plates.
  • Handle vouchers for meal guests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in and contribute to the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program.
  • Perform other dietary-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Fluent English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn.
  • Pleasant, outgoing personality and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate and previous experience in a similar position preferred.
