Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychological treatment/counselling sessions within the context of the Mental Health Assessment and Treatment Services.
- Provide education classes on various subjects relevant to the Mental Health Assessment and Treatment Services.
- Develop and maintain treatment goals that are realistic in the context of the program and program length.
- Complete intake, progress, and discharge reports in a timely manner and as specified in agreements laid out with customers.
- Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and communicate with team members as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Alberta.
- Excellent knowledge of the practice of counselling in a rehabilitation environment.
