Program Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks related to service delivery, program operations, and community relations. Your duties will include:
- Direct Service: Providing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the necessary assistance.
- Program Operations/Administrative Tasks: Managing program resources, establishing priorities, and implementing changes in response to client needs and environmental influences.
- House Operations: Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Community Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with community partners, promoting our services and programs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or diploma in a related field, such as the humanities or social sciences.
- Minimum three years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
- A valid class G driver's license and proof of insurability as a driver, as well as reliable transportation.
- Current First Aid/CPR certificates and immunization records.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse communities and constituencies.
- Knowledge of best practices, relevant legislation, guidelines, policies, and standards relating to service deliverables.
- Ability to collect, organize, prepare, and edit correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
- Strong conflict resolution, mediation, and crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
- Commitment to quality assurance.
