Company Overview

Holcim, a leading player in the construction industry, seeks a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist Concrete, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our concrete products and processes.

Salary

The successful candidate can expect an hourly rate of $22 for regular time, 1.5 times the pay rate for overtime, and double the pay for working Sundays. All company benefits, including vehicle and phone, will be provided according to Lafarge's company policy.

Job Description

This position involves sampling and testing raw materials for use in concrete, ensuring compliance with CSA/CCIL requirements, troubleshooting problems at the concrete plant and on-site, and assisting in the development of new concrete products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (preferably) and have relevant work experience. Additionally, you should have a valid driver's license, strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work safely following all safety and environmental requirements.
