As an Executive Sales Director with National Bank, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our comprehensive line of investments to financial advisors in the Edmonton region and Northern Saskatchewan. Your primary responsibility will be to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones through a disciplined approach to advisor coverage.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Strengthening Existing Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing financial advisors, ensuring they have access to our comprehensive line of investments.
  • Building New Relationships: Identify and recruit new financial advisors to join our network, focusing on building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to achieve business development targets within the defined territory.
  • Advisor Support: Provide ongoing support to financial advisors, including sales ideas, product information, and market updates.
About You:

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in administration or a related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in administration or a related field, and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the financial environment and industry, specifically the mutual fund industry.
  • Mutual funds and business development experience.
  • Experience in coaching and training.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent knowledge of business development techniques.
  • A financial designation (IFIC, CSC, PFP, CIMA, CFA, or Fellow from CSI) is an asset.
