Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Financial Director to lead our banking operations. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships within the organization and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to deliver business goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Measure performance on financial components of the annual planning process and quarterly forecasting.
  • Provide financial KPIs to support Bank strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead and oversee expense management processes and policies, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure expense management discipline and alignment to Bank expense policies.
  • Review business cases and provide effective challenge, value-add analysis, and recommendations on investments.
  • Analyze report output and make strategic recommendations to drive revenue, reduce costs, or both.
  • Report monthly and quarterly results to senior executives, including variance analysis.
  • Lead the production of regular management reporting, including monthly Performance reports, Management team meetings, and Board meetings.
  • Provide ad-hoc information and analysis to Investor Relations as needed.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in a financial area, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of banking industry products and services.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to present financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and set priorities and meet deadlines.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
