About This Role


The Market Research Associate will be a key member of the Corporate Affairs Research team at Fidelity Canada, responsible for delivering high-quality market and competitive research to support business development, thought leadership, and strategic planning initiatives.



  • Assist in designing questionnaires, sampling, data collection, and analysis for primary research programs.
  • Collaborate with Market Research Analysts to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, prepare research reports, and support internal stakeholders with research inquiries.
  • Support Fidelity Canada's businesses with demand analysis, competitive positioning, and trend identification to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Engage with industry-leading market research partners to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate day-to-day Research team activities to ensure deliverables are met, risks are identified, and issues are managed.
  • Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved.

Requirements



  • 1-3 years' experience in financial services, asset management, or market research.
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • Completion of the CSC designation is preferred.
  • Enrollment or completion of the MRIA designation is considered an asset.
