About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Market Research Strategist to join our team at Scotiabank. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing market research strategies that drive business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Research Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive market research projects to gather insights on customer behavior, preferences, and needs.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, manage, and negotiate with high-quality research vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of research projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Insight Analysis and Presentation: Analyze research data, identify key findings, and present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business lines, marketing, and product development, to ensure research findings inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Advanced Market Research Experience: 8+ years of experience in market research, preferably on the vendor or client-side.
  • Research Expertise: Thorough understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, as well as statistical techniques and tools.
  • Communication and Project Management Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex research findings into actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SPSS, R, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Qualtrics, with knowledge of emerging market research techniques.
