About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at 101486 P.E.I. Inc. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
    • Plan and execute the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and cooked safely and hygienically.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training or certification is an asset.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
    • Food Safety Certificate.
    • First Aid Certificate.
    • CPR Certificate.
