Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1887155 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.
Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation StaffOversee and direct the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
Estimate and Manage Food and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
Ensure Quality Control and Customer SatisfactionEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and Manage BudgetsPrepare and manage budgets, including cost estimates and financial reports.
Maintain Records and ReportsMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Requirements- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision, or equivalent experience.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work EnvironmentThis is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
Work ScheduleThis is a permanent role with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
