About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Proposal Coordinator to join our team at SRG Express Employment Professional in Oakville, ON.

This is a hybrid position that involves managing the entire proposal response process from start to finish, including overseeing the pursuit team and collaborating with technical/operational managers, financial leaders, and executives across various locations and departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the complete bid preparation process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all proposal submissions.
  • Review and interpret Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information/Qualification (RFI/RFQ), tender and prequalification packages for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Project manage, write, and prepare company responses to bid opportunities issued by industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) customers, as well as municipal/governmental buyers and producer responsibility organizations.
  • Coordinate team members and maintain project schedules through planning and hosting meetings and conference calls.
  • Gather, research, and assemble all required documentation and information from relevant parties/sources for proposal development.
  • Analyze and review bid requests with high attention to detail, ensuring responses are fully compliant with listed requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with other project team members, including ownership, executives, directors, financial leaders, and operational managers to ensure company submissions align with the bid strategy/planning and technical leads/operators.
  • Implement continuous learning and growth through internal and external post-mortems and debriefs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Completion of post-secondary education, preferably in a program with extensive writing and research requirements (e.g., English, Communications, or Business/Commerce).
  • At least 2 years of experience in developing high-quality documentation, preferably in response to procurement opportunities.
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Superior copywriting, technical writing, and/or business writing abilities, with an average typing speed of 50 to 80 wpm.
  • Superior time management capabilities, thriving in an environment with multiple concurrent assignments and firm deadlines.
  • Very high attention to detail in an environment where multi-tasking and a positive outlook are crucial.
  • Elevated communication and interpersonal skills, working well with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek out answers.
  • Experience and proficiency in using MS Office software – particularly MS Word and PowerPoint – and Adobe, with demonstrated capability of learning new tools/technology quickly and efficiently.
  • Possess a valid Ontario Provincial Driver's License – G Class.
About the Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
