About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Studio Manager to join our team at our Yonge & Shuter location. As a Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio, including managing staff, maintaining facilities, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and retain top talent in the FOH and BOH teams, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Scheduling and Onboarding: Develop and manage FOH and BOH schedules, ensuring that staffing levels meet seasonal demands and budgeted labor allocation. Lead onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless transition for new team members.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the studio, including identifying, logging, and resolving maintenance and repair issues. Ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
  • Inventory Management: Manage all facility supplies, including cleaning equipment and guest amenities, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on payroll metrics, labor and operational expense budgets, and balanced scorecard metrics. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Coaching and Development: Identify opportunities for coaching and development among team members, providing feedback and guidance to ensure that all staff members are equipped to excel in their roles.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and support, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in sales, business, or a related field.
  • Interest in fitness, health, and wellness.
  • College or university degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Hospitality experience is an asset.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • An analytical approach and the ability to use quantitative data in decision-making.
  • Customer service-oriented, with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage time, be available for team members, including outside of regular working hours.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary $60-$80k per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Enrollment in an annual management bonus plan, targeted at 10%.
