About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Studio Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our dual-soundstage facility. This role encompasses managing both our Virtual Production LED volume and traditional soundstage, as well as various bookable support rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Management: Oversee the scheduling, maintenance, and readiness of all facilities, including the Virtual Production LED volume and traditional soundstage.
  • Support Room Management: Manage the booking, use, and upkeep of various support rooms within the facility, optimizing their availability and functionality for production teams.
  • Staff Management: Facilitate hiring, training, and scheduling of staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations specific to both traditional and virtual production environments.
  • Office Administration: Handle office administrative duties, including shipping, couriers, organizing materials into templates, and ensuring contracts and documentation are properly managed.
  • Client Support: Ensure needs are met for productions shot in our studios and facilitate a seamless production experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality of service, and studio competitiveness.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial aspects of studio operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the aesthetic updating of the space and renovation projects.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and oversee an inventory management system.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Business Administration, or a related field, with a deep understanding of both traditional and virtual production technologies.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a studio or production environment, with a proven track record in managing complex operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, capable of handling both creative and administrative responsibilities efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve problems effectively.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic schedules of film production, including working outside regular office hours as needed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software, equipment, and office productivity tools.
