Job Summary

DR. KARIM LALANI INC. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Provide information or services to employees
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Hire, train and supervise staff
Work Environment

The Human Resources Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and will require attention to detail, ability to work independently, and efficient interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
