Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Beedie. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and preparing and posting notices and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Provide information and services to employees, including employee assistance and counselling.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants, and review candidate inventories.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and notify applicants of results of the selection process.
  • Prepare job offers and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Arrange training for staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
