Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Life Italian Restaurant. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Perform bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking as required by the job.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Demonstrate excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and management.
    • Display flexibility and initiative in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment.
    • Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve business objectives.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
