Job Title: Regional Manager, MD Wealth

As a Regional Manager at MD Wealth, you will play a key role in leading a team of financial advisors to achieve exceptional results. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and manage the performance of your team, ensuring they adopt and effectively use contact and sales planning tools.

You will lead and drive a customer-focused culture throughout your team, deepening client relationships and leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Partner with the Regional Head to create, develop, and maintain high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and implement team-based solutions to address productivity deficiencies.
  2. Ensure compliance with MD standards, policies, and procedures, and implement action plans to address deficiencies.
  3. Manage escalated client complaints in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  4. Create an environment that fosters effective and efficient operations, adhering to Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles.
  5. Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 7 years' experience in the financial services industry in a leadership role, coupled with a university degree.
  2. Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  3. Conduct and Practices Handbook for Securities Industry Professionals (CPH)
  4. Life Licensed Qualification Program (LLQP) Insurance of persons and Group insurance of persons
  5. Experience with MS Office applications
