About the Job
We are seeking an experienced business leader to serve as our General Manager. This individual will be responsible for driving business development and managing the company's profit and loss statement (P&L) to achieve growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive network within business communities and demonstrate expertise in funding, venture capital, investment practices, and fundraising.
A strong background in start-up environments, business coaching, and funding is essential, along with a deep understanding of the unique hurdles start-ups face.
The General Manager should bring a strong perspective on the challenges and opportunities in clients' industries.
Requirements
Business Development
- Lead business development efforts by growing existing client relationships and cultivating new opportunities.
- Proven ability to establish key relationships and drive new business development.
Business Acumen
- Strong experience in P&L management, forecasting growth, and consistently meeting financial commitments.
Strategic Counsel
- Extensive senior/executive-level marketing experience.
- Expertise in leading client engagements and providing strategic guidance to growing multinational clients.
Driving Execution
- Skilled at turning strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, assign responsibilities, and allocate resources for effective execution and measurable results.
Strategic Thinking and Visioning
- Deep understanding of customer challenges and the ability to create actionable strategies to address them effectively.
Creativity and Innovation
- Stays ahead of industry trends by seeking innovative solutions to customer challenges.
- Leverages new ideas and technologies to enhance the company's vertical practices.
Leadership and Team Building
- Experienced in hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams and foster collaboration in remote work environments.
Business Planning and Client Development
- Proficient in strategic business planning and proposal development.
- Skilled at driving new business growth while strengthening existing client relationships.
