About the Role

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator, Member Services to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of FNHDA Membership, including processing new Member applications, supporting and retaining Health Director Members, coordinating activities related to membership inquiries and engagement, training logistics, and maintaining the FNHDA Members Portal.

About You

  • You will have a diploma in business/office administration or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • You will have relevant, recent, and significant experience in an administrative capacity, including provision of services to senior level staff processes.
  • You will have experience working with BC First Nations communities, Health Directors, First Nation Wellness Practitioners, and/or organizations.
  • You will have knowledge of the health governance landscape in BC, including the multiple agreements with health system partners within the provincial and federal systems.
  • You will have an excellent understanding of FNHDA as an Association for Health Leads/Directors, Association mission, purpose, and programs associated with membership, as well as a thorough understanding of the respective roles of fellow staff, board, and committees of the organization.
