Job Summary

The Senior Administrative Coordinator, Member Services will be responsible for all aspects of FNHDA Membership, including processing new Member applications, support and retention of Health Director Members, coordination of activities related to membership inquiries and engagement, training logistics, and maintaining the FNHDA Members Portal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new Member applications and support and retention of Health Director Members
  • Coordinate activities related to membership inquiries and engagement
  • Maintain the FNHDA Members Portal
  • Provide excellent customer service to FNHDA Members seeking information on FNHDA programs, information streams, training initiatives, and community health planning activities

Requirements

  • Diploma in business/office administration or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Relevant, recent, and significant experience in an administrative capacity, including provision of services to senior level staff processes
  • Experience working with BC First Nations communities, Health Directors, First Nation Wellness Practitioners, and/or organizations
  • Knowledge of the health governance landscape in BC, including the multiple agreements with health system partners within the provincial and federal systems
  • Excellent understanding of FNHDA as an Association for Health Leads/Directors, Association mission, purpose, and programs associated with membership, as well as a thorough understanding of the respective roles of fellow staff, board, and committees of the organization
